What do you think the film is about and what might the storyline be?

Looking at the tagline in the top right of the cover, I can infer the storyline to revolve around a Sci-Fi theme of androids or robots vs humans, showing as man has made the problem in what looks like a futuristic setting, being shown by the more advanced technology shown under them. The man is depicted as the hero and the woman a villain, in the clear binary opposites they are since the man has a light around his face as well as the woman having a dark aura around her. The man's closeup makes the moment he is in look crucial to the plot, and likely a major event in the film.

Title: Scary Movie 2

What do you think the film is about and what might the storyline be?

The movie looks to be a comedically horror film, with less of the attempt to scare, but rather to make the audience laugh. The cover doesn't depict a main character however the man in the middle above the other man as well as the woman on the left seem to be possibly the 'scary' characters in the cast. Since the man in the middle can be guessed as the main character for this film although there is no emphasis on this. Both women with slogans on their shirt seem can resemble a comedically term such as the woman on the right possibly having an encounter with the 'dead'.

Title: UZAK

What do you think the film is about and what might the storyline be?

The movie looks to be something about a man visiting or going someplace, the area can be seen as possibly london as under the title “UZAK” we can see what looks to be big ben, the fog looks to be something like the industrial revolution and its winter time shown by the snow, this film can possibly be a man revisitng home after a long time, perhaps in search for his family. The camera shot doesnt just focus on the man but on the surroundings too, this can be thought to be the photographers attempt to convey meaning of a “broader image”.

Title: I’M NOT SCARED

What do you think the film is about and what might the storyline be?

The film shows an image of a little boy, this camera shot shows the main focus and story revolving around the boy, the closeup from the whole can partake in adding interest to the viewer as to what hes looking down for, whys he here. The contrasing colours can represent a possible bad guy that hes looking at, and the film title is bright to show a possible meaning. The lighting on the boys face is slightly less than the background which we can infer as the meaning of him possibly going into the whole.

A young audience since it doesnt look something with a detailed or good story for adults.

Title: Sin City

What do you think the film is about and what might the storyline be?

The cover stars a dark and monochrome background, which can show something which may be R rated, the images show men holding gun props whilst in dark attire to blend in with the movies monochrome theme, the red text can connote blood or murder showing severe or high possible violence, the man who is covered in light can be possibly the hero in this film, a classic binary opposite between a villain or evil organisation and hero.

Title: Pirates of the Caribbean

What do you think the film is about and what might the storyline be?

The film looks to be pirate themed, with the desaturated cover, the movie will show a time when pirates would have presumably been popular, the bright red bandana would suggest the man with the gun being the main character aswell as the other two, man and woman being significantly important characters within the film. The ship below them can show a major scene of climax within the film aswell as the skull showing death and murder in the film.

Title: Bride and Prejudice

What do you think the film is about and what might the storyline be?

The movie seems to look like a comedy, this can be shown from the bright colours aswell as the slogan “SPECTACULAR, ROMANTIC, FUNNY and SO SEXY” the movie may be featuring certain explicit scenes and a comedy romance between the man and the woman in the middle of the cover. The choice of red for the woman dress can show the boldness of the woman and the beige suit of the man can show a sort of timidness and to blend in. The zoomed out shot in the background is probably showing the range if important character, the left showing the man being a more urban fixiated character, whereas the right showing the womans more cultural and rural role.

Title: Million Dollar Baby

What do you think the film is about and what might the storyline be?

The movie cover shows the woman suggested as the million dollar “baby” aswell as the main focus of the film. The dark setting and colour shows the possible dark side of things such as murder. And the highlight on her skin can be shown as somewhat sexualising her. Possibly using her looks to allure foes and deal with them silently. Possibly a heist film which can be infered from the “million dollar” part of the title.
